FIRST SHIFT - Proudly Ever After: Celebrating 10 Years of Marriage Equality

Join us in volunteering for a joyful, unapologetically queer celebration marking 10 years of marriage equality with a mass wedding ceremony that honors love in all its forms! We are looking for your support on this day for community, commitment, and pride.

Held in the heart of Houston, this event will bring together couples, chosen families, allies, and advocates for an unforgettable afternoon of celebration laughter, tears, joy and—most importantly—LOVE.

First Shift Roles (Assignments Determined Onsite Based on Need):
Ceremony Setup Crew (Room 106); 3-4 Volunteers

Reception/Mixer Setup Crew (Room107); 3-4 Volunteers

Parking assistance, Ushers, Greeting, and Check-In (Parking lot, elevators and stairs, Community Center Hallway); 10-15 Volunteers

Gift Table Attendant Volunteer (Hallway); 1 Volunteer

“Go-For” Assistant Volunteer (Room 112/113); 2 Volunteers
